We were on vacation in Benson Arizona, using the 12" in the dome at Vega-Bray Observatory. We had to assume that the scope was correctly aligned, but we did not do a drift alignment. (I ran the imaging equipment and my partner ran the scope.)
We were clouded out the remaining two nights we stayed at Vega-Bray, so we never did manage to stay up late enough to grab M 82! |
