My main challenge in shooting, and then in processing, this image, was to maintain the star colors, while still bringing in as much nebulosity as possible. I had a very tough time doing this, as the faint nebulosity presents a big temptation to STRETCH or SATURATE :-) Eventually, I have applied NO saturation to the image - the colors are not saturated at all. |
