Comet was very near the horizon and we were luck to obtain as many images as we did. Histograms showed the brightness increase a few percent starting about 10:59pm (7 minutes after impact--the time it takes light to travel that far).
Not a perfect shot, but it had to be done. The most significant solar system event in recent times. |
